Skillet Cinnamon Apples on a Devils Food cake topped with whipped cream!...YUM!
Actually any unfrosted cake or vanilla pound cake will work.
I had the apples and a boxed cake, so I decided to make a desert for a friend, that had to put down her doggie.
She loves chocolate, and I am sure this recipe will make her feel a wee bit better.
This turned out to be a delicious treat, with the cinnamon apples ladled on the top.
Naturally it screamed for whipped cream!.. LOL
