This recipe was given to me by my mother in law. The cake tastes great, the top crust will be very hard or 'crunchy looking', but the inside will be very moist. Doesn't need any kind of icing or topping either. I make several of these a year, even for holidays, my family loves it. They have been known to eat just the top crust, they say it's the best part!
