My friend Francis Harris of Olvie Church use to make this cake for my husband, on his Birthday.

Ingredients

1 box of butter pecan cake mix
1 large egg
1 pkg of instant butter scotch pudding (3.4 oz size)
12 oz of butter scotch morsels
1 cupof pecans or walnuts (i use walnuts)
1/3 cup of vegatable oil

Step-By-Step

1Make instant pudding a directed on the box.Combine cake mix ,egg and pudding ,and oil.Beat for two minutes(2)on medium speed.Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan .Top with Butter Scotch Morsels and nuts .Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.Tooth Pick test it.....Watch the timing do not overcook
