one cube butter, melted

2 cups brown sugar, packed

2 cups flour

two eggs, beaten

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup walnuts, optional
How To Make bubbie's blonde brownies

1after melting butter in a pan, pour into large bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well, then pour batter into a greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 12.
