My friend is pregnant. Made her a cheese cake. There is really not much more to the story behind this invention than that. Other than that it is in fact an invention of great experimentation. Never done this before, just sounded interesting. :-D

Ingredients For brownie bottom neapolitan cheese cake

  • FOR BROWNIE BOTTOM
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    unsalted butter
  • 2 oz
    unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • VANILLA LAYER
  • 1/2 c
    unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz
    package of creamed cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • CHOCOLATE LAYER
  • 1/2 c
    unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz
    package of creamed cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    chocolate syrup
  • STRAWBERRY LAYER
  • 1/2 c
    unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz
    package of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    strawberry syrup (or more depending on your taste)
  • 1/4 c
    powdered sugar

How To Make brownie bottom neapolitan cheese cake

    Preheat oven to 350'F Grease a 9 inch spring form pan.

    Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt
  • 3
    in a small heavy sauce pan over low heat melt butter and chocolate together. Stir frequently until smooth.

    Turn off heat and remove from burner. Add eggs, sugar and vanilla to sauce pan and mix until smooth.

    Pour batter into greased spring form pan and back on bottom wrack for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool brownie completely.

    In a medium mixing bowl mix all "vanilla layer" ingredients together until smooth and fully incorporated.

    In another medium mixing bowl mix all "strawberry layer" ingredients together until smooth and fully incorporated.

    In another medium mixing bowl mix all "chocolate layer" ingredients together until smooth and fully incorporated. Side note: you can also reuse the same bowl washing it in between stacking layers if you want to save the dishwasher a job.

    Remove ring from cooled brownie.

    With a bread knife even the top of the brownie out. Remove it from the spring form pan bottom. and place it on a cake plate. Side note: You want your brownie layer to be about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick. Just slice across the top with the knife until level. (Don't over do it though!!!)

    Place spring form pan ring back around brownie bottom. (Do not put the bottom piece back on.) Layer cheese cake filling on top of each other. I layered chocolate, strawberry, then vanilla. I garnished with a little chocolate sauce.

    Set in the fridge for about 6 hours. After it is done setting, run a sharp knife around the rim of the spring form pan and remove the spring form pan ring.
