Vicki's Notes:

So simple - its crazy to buy it at the store.

Directions

1
In your food processor, put any amount of white sugar you would like.
2
Drizzle Molasses until the consistency of your chosen darkness or lightness preferred.
3
Stir half-way through processing, to stir up the molasses which may settle at the bottom of your processor container.
4
Mix well, and remove to a container to seal up well.

The Molassas aroma may be strong when the brown sugar is fresh, but this will disapate as it is stored.

I use nothing else other than homemade brown sugar. Its wonderful.

Vic, gonna try this today. Brown sugar is on my grocery list, but I am going to mix up a bit of this to try it out. I've made substitutions like this in recipes when I ran out of brown sugar, but never made a a purposeful batch to store and use

Hey, Pat. You will love it. Ever since I started doing this...+++ years ago, I haven't purchase ready-made brown sugar. I like it also for the fact that you can make it as light or dark as you want!

Thanks for sharing.
And I'm going to make the Splenda brown sugar by using Splenda Blend white and putting the molassas in that, I would think that would be the same as Splenda brown we 'll see.
