GLAZE: 1 CUP OF SUGAR 1/2 CUP OF WATER
1. Cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy
Add beaten eggs (eggs should be lemon colored)
Combine flour, and baking powder and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Spoon mixture in a prpared 10 inch tube pan or 12 cup bundt pan bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hrs. or until cake tests done.
Add 1/2 of the glaze if desired on warm cake. Cool in pan 10 minutes before turning out. Add remaining glaze.
