    white cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    smashed bananas (1 ripe)
  • 1/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c
    crushed malt balls
  • FOR THE MALT FROSTING
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    chocolate malted milk powder
  • 4 Tbsp
    milk, divided
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make banana malt cupcakes

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make up the cake mix according to the box. Add the sour cream in with the liquids. Stir in the bananas and malt balls.

    Fill cupcake liners 3/4 of the way full and bake for 22-24 minutes. Cool.

    Dissolve the malted milk powder in 2 Tablespoons milk. Beat the butter, milk, and vanilla until creamy. Slowly add the powdered sugar. Add another 2 Tablespoons milk and beat until very creamy and light. Frost cupcakes and top with extra malt balls.
