Banana Cake with Caramel Icing

all purpose flour
mashed ripe bananas
Measure the first 8 ingredients into mixing bowl. Beat for 2 minutes on low speed. Add bananas, nuts and vanilla and beat another 2 minutes.
pour into three 9 inch cake pans that have been lined with waxed paper and greased with shortening and flour.
bake at 350 for 25 minutes. When done, place on rack to cool 5 minutes before turning out of pans. When completely cool, frost with Caramel Frosting. I will post my recipe.
