Apple-Rhubarb Dump Cake

Very simple and very delicious. I just love rhubarb and so I just love this recipe, too.

Ingredients

2 c
rhubarb, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
2 c
apple pie filling
1 pkg
strawberry gelatin, small size
1 c
sugar
1 stick
butter
1 1/2 c
water
1
white cake mix, 2 layer size

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix rhubarb and pie filling and pour into bottom of a greased 13 by 9 inch baking pan. Mix sugar and jello; sprinkle over rhubarb.

Sprinkle cake mix over that and sprinkle water over all.

Slice butter and distribute evenly on top of cake mix.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
