In a large casserole size dish add both cans of apple pie filling, spread evenly. Open cake mix and add dry mix over the apples, spread evenly. Cut slices of butter, enough to cover the entire top of the dry cake mix.
Bake in oven at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown. Take out and let set for around 10 minutes. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream over the top of each slice. Enloy!
