Ingredients

CAKE

1/2 c
butter, room temperature
2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2 c
buttermilk
2 tsp
baking soda
3 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
vanilla extract

TOPPING

6 Tbsp
butter, soft
4 Tbsp
milk
1 c
brown sugar
1/2 c
nuts (your favorite)

Step-By-Step

1Cream together butter and sugar
2Mix in buttermilk and soda.
3Add flour and vanilla.
4Bake until done. Test with fork and when it comes out clean, the cake will be done.
5TOPPING: Mix all ingredients and spread on cake while it's still hot.
6Bake for 1 minute or until top is bubbly.
