Here is an alternating icing/topping for my Oatmeal Cake.

Ingredients For alternate oatmeal cake icing

1/2 cmargarine

1 cbrown sugar

1 ccoconut
-
1 cchopped pecans
-
1 can(8 ounces) crushed pineapple, juice also

1 tsplemon juice (not extract)
How To Make alternate oatmeal cake icing

1Boil in saucepan until thickened. Spread over cake. Broil until golden brown.

2NOTE: This makes enough for a 9 x 9 x 2 inch cake.
