Ok I am just not a fan of the magic bars, I found many (to many) Almond Joy magic bars and I just don't like them so much. I wanted to add my own spin on this type of recipe for my hubby becuse he loves Almond Joy ANYTHING! Here is my take on what these should taste like LOL They came out so super moist and so Fudgey Brownie GOOD!!
In a large bowl sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
In the bowl of a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer), beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 to 4 minutes). Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and beat until combined. Mix by hand with a large spoon or clean hands the flour mixture and beat until you have a smooth dough stir in 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place rack in the center of the oven. Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper. Press chocolate dough evenly into bottom of pan.
Top chocolate dough with 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (remainder of the bag)
Top chocolate chips with 1 cup almonds
Top Almonds with 2 cups coconut
Pour whole can of eagle condensed milk over coconut
Bake in oven for 40 minutes or until top is toasty brown
