5-Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

Who doesn't love chocolate cake? Yeah, I thought so...this is a clever way to get your chocolate cake fix without having to bake the whole thing and be forever tempted!

When was the last time you whipped up chocolate cake in 5 minutes? Didnt' think so.....this is so quick and easy if you have a microwave and a large coffee mug!

Can you say "YUMMO"?? :-)

pinch tips: How to Fold Ingredients


1 (maybe 2 if you want to share)


5 Min




1 large
coffee mug
4 Tbsp
all purpose flour
4 Tbsp
granulated sugar
2 Tbsp
unsweetened cocoa
1 large
3 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
vegetable oil
3 Tbsp
chocolate chips (optional)
small splash of vanilla extract

Directions Step-By-Step

In your large coffee mug combine all dry ingredients and mix well. Add egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in milk and oil, mixing well. Add chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Place mug in microwave (1000 watt) and cook for 3 minutes on HIGH. The cake will rise above the mugs edge but don't be alarmed!!

Allow to cool and tip out of mug onto serving plate to eat and enjoy!
