Directions
In a Ziploc bag, combine the two cake mixes together and mix well.
For each individual cake serving, take out 3 Tablespoons of the cake mix combination and mix it with 2 Tablespoons of water in a small microwave-safe container.
Microwave on high for 1 minute, and you have your own instant individual little cake!
Keep remaining cake mixture stored in the Ziploc bag and use whenever you feel like a treat!
You can top each cake with a dollop of fat free whipped topping and/or some fresh fruit.
*Try various flavors of cake mix like carrot, red velvet, pineapple, lemon, orange, etc.
*Just remember that ONE of the mixes HAS TO BE ANGEL FOOD MIX; the other is your choice.
*The flavor possibilities are endless!

I would think you could spray the microwavable dish lightly with a nonstick spray before putting it in the MW ... I don't know why that wouldn't work to keep it from sticking...although...when you read an angel food cake mix box for that cake it says not to spray the pan ... so ... you could try it and see what works ... be sure to let us know. I haven't tried it yet but it sure is temping me ... :)

Well I've tried this with a chocolate cake mix and angle food. I made it as directed hoping it would taste like the microwave mixes you buy. Nope. To me it tasted like a chocolate wet sponge. Maybe adding in chocolate chips or mini marshmallows & drzzle with hersey's chocolate would help it. I just didnt care for it, now to figure what to do with the rest of the mix.

NOT AT ALL........I keep this mixed together in a tupperware with a tight fitting lid in my refrig so I can make it in a flash.
All I do is shake the tupperware container to make sure whats setteled is mixed together. Take out the amount I want add the water and bake in the microwave (depending on the wattage in your micro, you may need to bake it longer...test every few seconds when you add more time).
THE RECIPE I USE IS THE SAME VERSION...
1 box Duncan Hines Angel Food Cake Mix
1 box any flavor regular Cake Mix
2 tablespoons water
Mix the 2 cake mixes together in a gallon zip-lock bag.
To make the cake:
Just take 3 tablespoons cake mix; mix this with 2 tablespoons water; Mix together and mico-wave for 1 minute. Let this rest for 15 minutes and serve with toppings.
Fruit, whipped cream or topping. Enjoy 3-2-1 voila!
Red Velvet, Chocolate, Spice, Banana, Strawberry, Lemon...etc.
I've used Pillsbury, Betty Crocker and even the Best Buy generic cake mixes also added flavors. I've even added micro-mini chocolate chips, crushed candies.

I will post a photo a one made by Claudia (FtSmith, AR)...Claudia says it was so simple and easy. When removing the cake from container after baking (in her case a coffee mug), she waited just a few seconds with the cup upside down on a plate and the cake dropped right out.
