Who doesn't Enjoy Orange or Vanilla Flavors?? This isa Bonus Recipe, 2 Great Recipes for One or Two, or if You just want a smaller pound cake. Its made in a 2X4Foil pan the Disposable ones you can purchase @ the Dollar store. Cuts into about 7-8 Slices, and Freezes very well.

Ingredients

VANILLA POUND CAKE . . TIP: USE (2) 2X4 SIZE FOIL PANS

3/4 Cup
all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 Cup
butter ( or margarine) = 1/2 stick
1/4 Cup
sugar
2
eggs
2 tsp
pure vanilla extract

# 2- ORANGE POUND CAKE ONE LOAF

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ABOVE WITH FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS;

2 tsp
(omit vanilla above) add pure orange extract flavoring
2 tsp
orange food coloring
2 tsp
orange zest

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat Oven @ 350 degrees
Coat with cooking spray a (2)2X4 tiny pans Disposable kind) set aside.

in a small bowl, sift flour & baking Powder. set aside.

With Electric hand mixer, Cream Butter, gradually add sugar.
Beat til Fluffy.
Add; Eggs one at a time, Mix well after each egg.
Add; Flavoring,
(also food coloring is making orange)

Gradually add your Dry ingredients that you have set aside.
Mix by Hand, till well blended.

Pour into your prepared Loaf pan.
Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool, Cut into 7-8 slices. Freezes well.
Serve with a dollop of Whipped cream
