Carole's Notes:

Two cake mixes..one regular cake mix and one Angel food cake mix..become a dessert in a cup or fancy glass from the microwave...easy peasy, and done in a flash...hope you enjoy!

Directions

1
Combine the angel food cake mix (dry) with any flavor of regular cake mix (dry)...place in a ziploc bag. Shake to mix well. IMPORTANT...you must add angel food cake..do not use two regular cake mixes..one of the two mixes has to be the angel food cake mix.
2
In a small coffee mug..put 3 Tablespoons of dry cake mixture in the bottom of cup, then add 2 T. of water. Mix until blended..place in microwave for one minute.
3
Remove and cool completely, you may top with dollops of icing, whipped cream, nuts..etc. Use your imagination with the toppings.
4
This is the mixture just before placing in microwave.
5
It is about a 6 bite size dessert..without toppings..I loved it!
6
I did one in a fancy glass goblet...worked beautifully...nice when having guests over for dinner.

I put a note up in the ingredients so that others will read the directions as to how much per cup...in the ingredients above I was only able to tell you what to have on hand without breaking it down on there. :)

Remarkable - I am sure going to have to try this! I can just imagine it with a Duncan Hines Caramel cake mix. Topped with a little fudge frosting and chopped pecans!

This is also called the 3, 2, 1 cake.....I always keep one mixed in a plastic bowl with a tight fitting lid so I can just shake it up and make anytime.
You did a grand job with your photos Lynn.

lol...I always check to see if recipes that I want to post are already on...so I put in the 1 2 3 cake...and found nothing (that is what it is called per my friend here in Michigan). Then I see others have it as 3 2 1..oh well, you can't win! It is a great little treat though..so many flavors to try in combinations. In my picture of the tall glass I have peanut butter frosting with a Peanut butter gharadelli(sp?) bar with chocolate fudge sauce drizzled on it and almonds, it was yummy. I will mention that these little one minute cakes are best eaten within the hour, at least it seems to be for me. I found the one I made in the glass versus a heavy cup was a little tough, and chewy the longer it sat..the one I made in the mug was perfect. Maybe a little less time for glass cooking in the microwave..try it at about 50 seconds.

and, thanks Ladies for sharing all your comments and your ideas..and Cindy, thank you, I am an amature when it comes to photography..but I get lucky once in a while and they do come out nice. :)

Norma your dessert looks lovely!! Thank you for sharing...

Oh I think you do very well with your picture taking.
It's called 3,2,1 around here as that's how you make it...3T, 2T and 1 minute.
I too think it's best in a mug rather than a glass (anyway it turns out best that way for me).
The photo Norma posted is the one shown on the internet when you are looking for this cake.
I've never made it in a Martini glass, as I don't have any of them. Makes for a pretty dessert any way you make it.
