Ingredients

1
egg
2 c
all purpose flour
1/4 c
vegetable oil
1 1/2 c
milk
3 Tbsp
sugar
3 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
vanilla
slice
partially fried bacon

Step-By-Step

1In medium bowl, beat egg until frothy. Add remaining ingredients, mix until smooth.
2Add 2/3 cups batter to preheated waffle maker and spread evenly with rubber spatula. Place a piece of partially fried bacon on top of batter and close unit to bake.
3Carefully remove waffle lightly. Repeat until all waffles are baked. These freeze well and toasted later.
