Gotta love those big IHOP Pancakes, with melted whipped butter and hot thick syrup. Now you can make them at home and impress your guests.

Ingredients

non stick cooking spray
1 1/4 c
all purpose flour
1
egg
1 1/4 c
buttermilk
1/4 c
granulated sugar
1 tsp
* 1 (heaping) tsp baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1/4 c
cooking oil
1 pinch
salt

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat skillet over medium heat. Use a pan with a non stick surface or use non stick spray.

In a blender or with a mixer, combine all the remaining ingredients until smooth. Ladle approx 1/3 cup of the batter into the skillet, form 5 inch circles. When the edges appear to harden after a minute or two, flip the pancakes they should be golden brown. Cook the pancakes for the same amount of time until golden brown.

Makes 8-10 Pancakes.
