PANCAKE BATTER

all purpose flour
1/2 c
cocoa powder
1 c
powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 1/2 c
buttermilk

eggs
1/2 c
granulated sugar
3 Tbsp
red food coloring drops
CREAM CHEESE BUTTER

sticks of butter softened

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
3 c
powdered sugar
1 tsp
vanilla

Directions

SIFT ALL DRY INGREDIENTS EXCEPT SUGAR.MIX EGGS BUTTERMILK, SUGAR AND FOOD COLORING IN A SEPERATE BOWL.

ADD DRY INGREDIENTS TO WET INGREDIENTS IN THIRDS. DO NOT OVERMIX. POUR ONTO HOT GREASED GRIDDLE INTO DESIRED SIZE. WHEN TOP BUBBLES FLIP COOK UNTIL DONE.

CREAM CHEESE BUTTER

WHIP BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE WITH AN ELECTRIC MIXER FOR 3-5 MINUTES SCRAPING SIDES. MIX IN VANILLA. ADD POWDERED SUGAR ONE CUP AT A TIME UNTIL BLENDED. SWIPE OVER TOP OF WARM PANCAKES.
