Ingredients

9 large
eggs
3 c
half & half
1/3 c
sugar
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla
1/2 tsp
cinnamon or nutmeg (i like cinnamon)
24-30 slice
french bread...3/4" thick

PRALINE SYRUP

1 1/2 c
packed brown sugar
1/2 c
karo syrup (not the dark one)
1/2 c
water
1/2 c
chopped pecans..toasted
2 Tbsp
butter

Step-By-Step

1In a large bowl,lightly beat eggs.
Stir in cream,sugar,vanilla,and cinnamon
Arrange french bread in a single layer in 2 greased
15"x10"x1' baking pan.

2Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover & refrigerate overnight.

3Remove from refrigerator 30 before baking.
Bake,uncovered,in preheated 400 oven for 20-25 minutes,or until golden brown.

4MEANWHILE, for Praline syrup,combine the brown sugar,corn syrup,and water in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat;simmer,uncovered,for 3 minutes.
Stir in pecans & butter;simmer 2 minutes longer.
Serve with French Toast.
