Melissa's Story

Also known as the BEST pancakes you'll ever make! These pancakes turn out heavenly time after time. They are thick, fluffy, and they taste delicious! Get creative and add blueberries, chocolate chip, or whatever your favorite add it, no matter how you do it, you will have the BEST pancakes ever.

1 1/2 c
sour cream
1 tsp
baking soda
1 3/4 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
1/2 c
3 Tbsp
butter, melted

Directions Step-By-Step

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. Combine sour cream and baking soda with a whisk, then stir in the eggs.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Stir into sour cream mix. Add butter and mix well. Add milk and beat until well blended.
Spray a non-stick frying pan with cooking spray. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter to make 3 pancakes in the pan. As dough begins to set, add any desired toppings.
When you begin to see bubbles pop in the middle of the pancake, flip it over and cook on the other side for about a minute. Use a spatula to slide finished pancakes onto a plate. Continue until all batter has been used up. Serve pancakes with your favorite topping. I like butter and real maple syrup!

Pancakes are one of my favorite foods. I could eat them any time of day. Thanks for sharing your recipe. They look and sound devine, going to give them a try.
