This recipe came from my sister-in-law, but I added the cinnamon. If possible, always make this in a cast iron frying pan. The bottom gets a nice crust and it looks absolutely beautiful when you take it from the oven.

Ingredients

1/2 c
whole milk
1/2 c
water
3/4 c
flour
1/2 stick
butter
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
cinnamon (optional)
2
eggs

Step-By-Step

1melt butter in a 10 inch cast iron frying pan. You can do this in the oven.
2mix the rest of the ingredients and add to butter in pan. do not stir
3cook in the oven at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
4Then serve with maple syrup or confectioner's sugar on top.
