honey nut chex cereal
2 c

cinnamon chex cereal

butter
1/4 c

2 Tbsp

honey
3/4 tsp

cinnamon, ground
1/2 tsp

nutmeg, ground
1/4 tsp

rum extract
2 c

How To Make hot buttered yum chex mix

In large microwavable bowl, place cereals. In 2 C microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter, brown sugar & honey uncovered on High 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until mixture is bubbly. Stir in spices & rum flavoring. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until coated.

Microwave uncovered on High 3 minutes, stirring & scraping bowl after every minute.

Cool slightly; about 5 minutes. Stir in marshmallows. Spread on waxed paper. Store in airtight container.
