This ingenious idea was the only hash recipe sent to the Wisconsin DNR when preparing the recipe booklet (A Fine Kettle Of Fish).

Ingredients

1/2 lb
fish fillets
1 large
potato
1 medium
onion
1/4 tsp
paprika
1 Tbsp
butter (or margarine)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Boil fish and potatoes separately until done.
Process potato, onion, and fish through a food grinder at medium speed setting

Add paprika, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Put butter (or margarine) in frying pan on medium heat.
Brown hash on both sides.
