Creamy Cream Cheese Grits

Ingredients

1 qt
milk
1/4 tsp
granulated garlic powder with parsley
1 tsp
kosher salt
1/4 tsp
freshly ground white pepper
1/4 tsp
tabasco
1 c
quick cooking grits
4 oz
cream cheese, cut into cubes
4 oz
cheddar cheese, cut into cubes

Step-By-Step

1In a large saucepan over medium-high heat combine, milk, garlic, salt, pepper and Tabasco.
2Heat, stirring slowly and constantly until milk just comes to a boil.
3Add grits and stir to mix. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook until grits are thick and creamy, 5-6 minutes.
4Add cheese and stir until they are completely melted. Serve warm.
