Combine all dry ingredients in med. saucepan. Mix with wire whisk.
Add milk and butter. Stir well to mix all ingredients. Cook over med. heat stirring constantly.
Cook until butter melts and sauce thickens...about 10 min. Stir to prevent sticking.
When thick, remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into gravy boat and serve with hot biscuits. Refrigerate leftovers.
