This my second try at sausage, the apple juice compliments the pork well.

Ingredients For breakfast sausage

  • 2 lb
    ground pork boston butt
  • 2 Tbsp
    ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    molasses
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    marjoram
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple juice
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt

How To Make breakfast sausage

    In a large mixing bowl add pork, and all ingredients.

    Mix well by hand. Take a small amount form a patty about the size of a 50 cent piece and fry. Adjust seasonings to your personal taste.
