1SKILLET METHOD: Start bacon in a cold skillet, cast iron cooks faster than steel. For bacon that crumbles easily, add a bit of cold water to the cold skillet and cook until water evaporates and bacon crisps.
2OVEN METHOD: This especially works well when you need to make a larger amount of servings. Place bacon on a wire rack, set in a rimmed baking sheet. Cook in a preheated, 450 degree oven for about 20 minutes.
3MICROWAVE METHOD: Place bacon between several layers of paper towels on a microwave safe plate. Cook on high for 2 - 4 minutes, depending on your oven. After the first 2 minutes check about every 30 seconds until bacon reaches your desired level of crispness.
