- thick sliced bacon (i like the center cut)
Put into a pre-heated 400 degree F. oven and watch it turn deliciously golden brown. It will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes but after about 12 minutes, start to watch it as ovens may vary. It will get very beautiful and crispy. The bacon will have a sweetness and goldeness that can not be matched and it goes perfectly with biscuits, gravy, pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc. You will get raves. Be careful not to put too much sugar or it will get sticky and too much butter will cause greasiness. It is a select amount on each of these that makes this perfect.
