Also known as Overnight Crockpot Apples. Its almost as good as Santa on Christmas morning.... waking up to the aroma of these delicious spicy apples. These make a great addition to a Christmas Brunch or serve them to overnight guests anytime. They are special.

Ingredients For christmas apples baked in a crockpot

  • 1/2 c
    raisins
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 8
    baking apples
  • cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    water

How To Make christmas apples baked in a crockpot

    Combine raisins, pecans, and brown sugar in a small bowl and mix well. Peel apples 1/3 of the way down and remove core. Fill each apple with raisin mixture.

    Place apples in crockpot. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg as desired. Place a dot of butter on top of each one. Pour water down side of crockpot so as not to disturb apple filling. Cover crockpot and cook on low overnight (8 hours). Serve warm.
