This recipe was given to me by a very dear friend of mine who was stationed with us in Astoria, OR. Val was from CA, and I was from NJ, but we hit it off and exchanged recipes for almost everything! This was one of our favorites! You can add just about anything to this, and it all turns out wonderfully!

As far as the fillings go, I have used all veggies, all meats as well as seafood, and every combination of these. Usually I adjust the seasoning depending on the filling. For example when I use seafood, I sometimes top the quiche with a light sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning. It looks great, and tastes great as well.
