1 egg
a splsh vinegar
1 english muffin
1 slc provolone cheese
salt and pepper

Cut a few calories by poaching your eggs instead of using butter or oil. Here is how I poach my eggs and they come out wonderfully every time.

 

Directions

Heat a pot of water with a few inches of water in it, add a splash of vinegar to the water.

Now you don't want boiling water, you want very hot water, just to the point before simmer. Now turn down temp as not to bubble. If your water starts to boil just bring down the temp to blow boiling point.

Break the egg into a small dish, now make a whirlpool in the pot with your spoon. Slide the egg into the middle of the whirlpool.

Cook 3-4 minutes, remove w/slotted spoon, let drain on paper towel.

Toast and butter your English muffin, add the slice of provolone, top with the poached egg and salt and pepper.

Great info..It has been a long time since I had a poached egg..
