Green Eggs and Maple Ham
|1 medium||ham steak|
|1 box||frozen chopped creamed spinach (1/2 cup for 4 eggs)|
|1/2 c||fresh sliced mushrooms|
|1/4 c||diced onions|
|1/4 c||diced green chiles|
|1/2 c||cottage cheese, small curd|
|1/4 tsp||onion salt|
|1/4 tsp||garlic powder|
I was out eating breakfast on Feb. 28th 2012 for Nat'l Pancake Day at IHOP and had green eggs & ham along with my short stack of pancakes plus my contribution for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals which ended up raising over 3 million. Way To Go, IHOP!!
Well, I decided to make my own version of green eggs that are packed with flavor, festive looking and have lots of protein too. This is my green eggs and ham and I do love them Sam I Am. LOL
My nephew Rhyan who is 16 yrs old was over this weekend and had some green eggs and ham and loved them too. (His request:no shrooms please.)
Cook up your ham while making your eggs and while cooking in pan add some maple syrup.
