Egg and Sausage Casserole

I sometimes make this for Christmas morning. It's such a treat for everyone.

Ingredients

6 slice
bread, cubed
1 lb
sausage, browned and drained
1 1/2 c
shredded cheddar cheese
8
eggs, beaten
2 c
milk
salt and pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan or baking dish.

Cube bread and place evenly in baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with browned sausage then cheese. In medium bowl mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour mixture over ingredients in pan. Bake for 45 minutes until set. Cut into squares to serve.

Note: This can be prepared the night before if desired. Cover and chill in refrigerator. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
