Most breakfast pizza's, that I have seen, are usually made with scrambled eggs - why not a "fried" egg? Here's my version... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Ingredients For breakfast pizza

  • 1 can
    refrigerated pizza crust dough
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 - 8 oz pkg
cream cheese spread, chive & onion, room temperature
  • 1 - 8 oz pkg
cream cheese spread, garden vegetable, room temperature
  • 1 lb
bulk pork sausage, broken up into pieces
  • 12 slice
    bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
  • 1 can
diced tomatoes with garlic & onion, drained
  • 6 x lg
    eggs
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3
scallions, sliced (both greens & whites)

How To Make breakfast pizza

  • 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • 2
Unroll crust into a greased 13" x 10" baking pan; flatten dough & build up edges slightly to form 1/2" rim on each side. Brush with oil. Prick dough thoroughly with a fork. Bake for 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool 5 minutes.
  • 3
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheeses; mix well.
  • 4
Meanwhile, in skillet, brown sausage pieces, about 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Set aside to cool slightly.
  • 5
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over slightly cooled crust. Top with bacon pieces. Place 1/2 tomatoes on dough along rim on all 4 sides. Place 1 line of tomatoes lengthwise down center of dough & then 2 more lines of tomatoes crosswise on dough to create 6 equal sections.
  • 6
Add cooked sausage pieces on top of tomatoes as directed above.
  • 7
Crack an egg into each section & sprinkle with salt & pepper.
  • 8
Sprinkle cheese & scallions evenly over top of everything.
  • 9
Bake 10 - 13 minutes or until egg whites are set & yolk is firm, but not runny. Cut into 6 squares & enjoy!
