Ingredients

1 1/2 c
water or milk
3/4 c
whole grain old fashioned oatmeal
dash(es)
salt
1-1 1/2 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1 Tbsp
brown sugar, heaping
1/2
apple, diced

Directions Step-By-Step

Add water and salt to pot, bring to boil.

Add oatmeal, apples, and cinnamon.
Continue cooking over medium heat approximately 5 minutes (until oatmeal is cooked), stir occasionally.

Remove from heat.
Add brown sugar, stir to incorporate throughout.
