British Bacon Butty

There are many opinions on how to make a bacon butty. You can vary it as you please. Best bacon is Canadian back bacon (probably can't get it in the US) or a lovely British bacon if you can get it. Americans can use a slice of Canadian Bacon (ironically this is not Canadian).
Traditionally, Brits will use a good white bread. You may prefer a crusty roll or other bread. Instead of brown sauce you could substitute dijon mustard or chili sauce.

Ingredients

2 slice
back bacon
2 slice
bread
brown sauce (hp)

Directions Step-By-Step

Grill or fry the bacon to your liking but not too dry and crisp.

Put it between the slices of bread and spread with HP sauce or whatever you choose.

Slice in half and enjoy.

Substitutions: Not traditional but you could add a slice of real cheese (not cheese food); different breads or rolls; different sauces such as chili sauce or dijon mustard.
