Ingredients For venison and hominy

  • 1 lb
    ground venison sausage, browned 
  • 1 can
    drained white hominy
  • 2 Tbsp
    ancho chili powder
  • 2 tsp
    oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • olive oil
  • 2 c
    diced onion
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1 or 2 md
    cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 can
    32oz can hominy
  • 1 1/4 can
    .5oz can fire-roasted tomatoes

How To Make venison and hominy

    Add hominy to browned sausage and heat completely.
