One of my Grams favorite ways of serving poached eggs. I love this easy, delicious recipe and serve on special occasions, such as Christmas. I hope you try it sometime, it sure beats just plain old poached eggs.

Ingredients

1/2 lb
mushrooms, large chopped
4 Tbsp
butter
2 Tbsp
flour
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
each - black pepper & paprika
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
2 c
milk
6
poached eggs
6 slice
hot, toast

Step-By-Step

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter, until tender.

Step 2 Direction Photo

2Sprinkle with flour and seasonings, stirring constantly for 1 minute.

Add milk & Worcestershire sauce and cook, stirring constantly. Boil for a couple minutes or until thickened.

3Poach eggs.

4Place egg on slice of hot toast.

5Cover over with sauce.
