Vanessa "Nikita"'s notes for this recipe:
I made this sammie a few months ago after making french toast for our breakfast. My Uncle loved it. He calls it the sticky ham sandwhich. He asked me this morning what I was gonna make for breakfast & told him "French toast" & he said "got any ham for the sticky sandwhich?" I told him "Yes I do." It is good but sticky btu did I said good....

Best to bake the french toast in a heated oven at 350F for about 10 to 15.In a 13x9 inch baking pan with 1/2 cup suryup poured all over it. After making the French toast. Set aside 4 slices.
Then Place 2 toast on each plate. Plac on 1 side the cheese & the other side the ham.
You may press together & reheat if you want to melt the cheese.
