Sausage and Apples Breakfast Casserole
I got it from the Virtual Cities Internet Cookbook. It is a specialty at a bed and breakfast in Leavenworth, Washington.

- 2 lb
- link sausages
- 4 medium
- golden delicious apples
- 3/4 c
- brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 1/2 tsp
1Brown sausages and peel and slice apples.
2Put one third of sausages in baking dish. Layer with one third of apples. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/4 cup brown sugar.
3Repeat layers until you have three layers of sausage and three layers of apples, sprinkling with brown sugar and cinnamon after each layer of apples.
4Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes stirring occasionally.
