Make Ahead Baked Carmel French Toast

- french bread, about 1 inch thick
- 1/2 c
- butter, (1 stick)
- 1 c
- brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp
- light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 c
- 1 Tbsp
- ground cinnamon
1Over medium heat, melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir until the mixture comes to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes until the caramel comes together. Pour the caramel into a 9inch by 11 inch glass or ceramic dish.
2Layer the bread slices over the caramel mixture.
In medium bowl, mix eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over the bread. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon and cover with plastic wrap.
3In the morning, uncover and bake in 350 F oven for 45 minutes.
Serve with fresh fruit.
