Homemade Granola

This is a great recipe to customize the way you want. Substitute ingredients that you love to make it your own.

3 1/2 c
rolled oats
3 Tbsp
flax seeds
3 Tbsp
sesame seeds
1/2 c
sliced almonds
1 tsp
sea salt
1/4 c
brown sugar (ideal sugar free sweetener)
1/4 c
oil (canola/pumpkin/hazelnut)
2 Tbsp
2 tsp
pure vanilla extract
2 c
mixed dried fruit


1Preheat oven to 375.

2Line rimmed baking sheet with foil.

3In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the dried fruit and stir well.

4Spread mixture on the baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. (I find 20 to 25 mins is best)

5Remove granola from the oven and cool completely.

6Once granola is cool, mix in the dried fruit.
