One of my old time anf favorite forever recipes from my old time favorite and forever friend. The 3 x 5 card is so old it is hardly legible!

Ingredients For audrey's breakfast casserole

    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    mustard
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 2
    sausages cooked and cut
  • 8 slice
    bread, cubed
  • 2 c
    sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 can
    mushrooms, fresh or canned

How To Make audrey's breakfast casserole

  • 1
    Mix eggs, salt, milk, mustard, soup with milk. Layer bread, sausage, cheese, and egg mixture. Refrigerate overnite (also freezes well). Bake at 350 for 45 minutes in your favorite casserole dish, loaf pan.
