Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees and prepare a loaf pan for baking. My favorite is a stoneware loaf pan sprayed with PAM baking spray.
Stir, the orange juice, orange zest, buttermilk, melted butter and egg together in a bowl.
Whisk together all dry ingredients. Add the liquids, blending together.
Add chopped cranberries and walnuts, stirring until well mixed.
Bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 30 to 35 minutes.
