1 c
yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1/3 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt
1 1/2 c
whole milk
1 1/2 stick
butter or margarine, melted
3 Tbsp
butter or margarine

eggs, slightly beaten

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In your baking pan or skillet but 3 tablespoons butter and place in preheated oven.

In large bowl mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside

In medium bowl mix milk, melted butter, and eggs. Add to dry mixture and mix until no longer dry.

Remove baking pan from oven and carefully pour batter into baking pan. Return to oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
