Ingredients

  • SCONES:
  • WET INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 - 6 oz packages liberté méditerranée french vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 - 1 jars seedless strawberry jam, to taste
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • DRY INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet mini chocloate chips
  • ICING:
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon strawberry extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • milk, to desired consistancy

How To Make strawberry chocolate chip scones

  • Step 1
    SCONES: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Mix the wet ingredients in a small bowl; then add the dry ingredients to a larger bowl & mix well.
  • Step 2
    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry & mix until combined. Grease 2 baking sheets or cover with parchment paper or silpat liner.
  • Step 3
    Portion batter out with a medium cookie scooper into 14 scones spaced widely apart. Cook for 15 - 20 minutes until cooked through.
  • Step 4
    ICING: In a medium bowl, add confectioners' & extracts. Add milk, 1 tsp at a time, if needed to thin to desired consistancy. Drizzle over scones.
