Poppy Seed Bread

- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/1/4 cups vegetable oil
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup poppy seeds
1Preheat oven to 375.
2Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan.
In large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
3In large bowl, mix oil and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add
evaporated milk, the milk and the vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in the poppy seeds.
Pour batter into prepared tube pan. Bake for 45 minutes or til cake tester inserted into center of bread comes out with moist crumbs attached. Let cool for 20 minutes before serving. Makes 1 bread.
